Group Forty Three
Group Forty Three identifies, structures and strengthens the human intelligence that makes people, businesses and organizations irreplicable.
We work at the intersection of human judgment, business architecture and artificial intelligence. From helping founders recognize the commercial opportunity hidden inside their own experience to designing systems that preserve human thinking as organizations scale, our work begins with the same belief:
The human is not the inefficiency to remove.
The human is the advantage to build around.
The Shift
AI can generate. Analyze. Automate. Build. Write. Research. Replicate.
And increasingly, it can execute what once required entire teams of people. That changes where value lives. When execution becomes increasingly accessible, the advantage moves upstream.
To judgment. Taste. Discernment. Perspective. Experience. Pattern recognition. Creativity. Context. Relationships. Meaning.
The things a machine can enhance — but should not be allowed to replace.
The future does not belong to the people who can use the most AI.
It belongs to the people who know what should remain unmistakably human.
What We Believe
For founders, the advantage may be hidden inside decades of experience that have never been considered together.
A collection of seemingly unrelated experiences that become extraordinarily valuable once someone recognizes the pattern.
For organizations, the same problem appears at scale.
The judgment of a founder. The instincts of an exceptional operator. The contextual knowledge of a team. The way decisions actually get made. The human intelligence responsible for creating the company's advantage in the first place.
Traditional systems often try to remove that variability. AI makes it possible to do something better.
Capture what matters. Strengthen what works. Scale the intelligence without erasing the human behind it.
That's the Human Advantage.
And that's what Group Forty Three architects.
Work With Group Forty Three
The scale changes. The principle doesn't.
Path One — For Founders
Find what makes you irreplicable.
You do not need another formula for building somebody else's business. You need to understand the commercial value of what already exists inside your experience, expertise, circumstances, perspective and ambition — and what becomes possible when those pieces are deliberately architected.
Human, by Design
Our flagship private strategic engagement. Through a comprehensive intake, approximately three-hour private intensive and bespoke Group Forty Three Blueprint, we identify the opportunity, architect the business and establish the sequence for moving forward.
Your Blueprint can include business architecture, positioning, offer ecosystem, operations, people and capacity, AI enhancement, your 1/3/10-year direction, 12-month strategy, detailed 90-day Direction Map and immediate priorities.
Investment: $1,995 USD
Explore Human, by DesignPath Two — For Organizations
Scale human intelligence without systemizing it out.
Organizations are rapidly deploying AI into systems that were never designed to protect human judgment. We take a different approach.
Group Forty Three examines where critical thinking lives inside an organization, where cognitive dependency or decision risk may be developing, what knowledge needs to be captured, and where AI can strengthen human capacity without quietly replacing it.
The result is infrastructure designed around the intelligence responsible for creating the organization's advantage.
Explore Work for OrganizationsOur Approach
Before recommending technology, systems, offers, automation, infrastructure or scale, we ask a more important set of questions.
What is already here?
What experience, knowledge, judgment, perspective, intellectual property, instinct or capability already exists?
What makes it valuable?
Where is the actual differentiation? What is difficult to reproduce? What creates trust, results, insight or competitive advantage?
What should be architected?
How should that intelligence become a business, model, methodology, decision system, operating process or organizational asset?
What should technology enhance?
Where can AI increase capacity, speed, access, consistency or intelligence without degrading human autonomy?
What must remain human?
Which decisions, relationships, creative acts, judgments and responsibilities should never be casually delegated simply because technology makes delegation possible?
Technology comes after the thinking.
Not before it.
Human-Centered Infrastructure
Our organizational work extends beyond recommendations into proprietary human-centered decision and cognitive infrastructure.
HER-OS™
Human Executive Reasoning Operating System
Designed to preserve and extend high-value human reasoning rather than replace it. HER-OS™ captures the context, decision patterns, judgment and thinking architecture behind exceptional human performance so that AI can enhance access to that intelligence without becoming a substitute for it.
Explore HER-OS™Network Core™
Distributed Human Intelligence Infrastructure
Individual intelligence is valuable. Connected intelligence changes organizations. Network Core™ extends human-centered cognitive architecture across teams, creating infrastructure that allows knowledge, judgment and decision intelligence to move through an organization without reducing people to standardized outputs.
Explore Network Core™The Principle
The easiest question in the AI economy is:
What can we automate?
We believe the more consequential question is:
What happens to the human when we do?
Every system changes behavior. Every convenience trains something. Every delegated decision alters a person's relationship with their own judgment.
Efficiency matters. But efficiency without consideration for human capability can create a hidden cost:
People who become increasingly capable of operating technology while becoming less practiced at thinking without it.
Group Forty Three designs from the opposite direction.
Insights
Group Forty Three Insights explores the ideas shaping business, human capability and the AI economy.
And the increasingly important question underneath all of them:
What should technology make humans more capable of becoming?
Insights is where we develop the thinking behind our work — from practical strategic observations to deeper research and The Sovereignty Papers.
Research + Original Thinking
An ongoing body of work examining the structural consequences of artificial intelligence on human judgment, cognitive autonomy and decision-making.
The Sovereignty Papers explore a question we believe will become increasingly important as AI becomes embedded in everyday work:
How do we gain the extraordinary advantages of artificial intelligence without surrendering the human capabilities that made those advantages possible?
Founder
Founder & Strategic Architect, Group Forty Three
Katherine Macri has spent more than two decades building businesses, brands, strategies and systems — and studying the human beings behind them.
Her work is rooted in an unusual ability to see patterns across information that other people tend to consider separately.
Rather than beginning with a predetermined framework and fitting the human or organization inside it, Katherine begins by understanding what already exists — and identifying what becomes possible when those pieces are deliberately connected.
That approach now sits at the center of Group Forty Three.
From architecting businesses around the irreplicable experience of their founders to designing AI-enhanced decision infrastructure for organizations, the objective remains the same:
Build around the intelligence that makes the human valuable.
AI will get faster. More capable. More accessible. More embedded in the way we work.
The question is no longer whether we use it.
The question is what we choose to become while we do.
We believe the businesses and organizations that matter next will not be built by eliminating humanity from the system. They will be built by understanding precisely where human value lives — and designing everything else around it.
Human, by Design.
Make yourself irreplicable.
